wHO WE ARE?
We are a non-profit organization, set up with the aim of contributing to the resolution of problems derived from the lack of water and sanitation in AFRICA.
Africa Safe Water Foundation and our partners advance lasting solutions to secure safe water for people, restore and sustain freshwater ecosystems, and build climate resilience. As a public foundation, we do this through direct grantmaking, field building, and campaign strategy development.
We develop projects that guarantee the access to water and sanitation in the most disadvantaged areas of the Africa.
Africa Safe Water Foundation is in the service of humanity: to help make the world a better place, a healthier place, a safer place and ultimately a place of peace and prosperity. All projects and programs funded by the Africa Safe Water Foundation have the same goal: to make the world a better place for all.

Safe Water Access
Our water filtration solutions change the lives of children, families, and community members by removing bacteria, protozoa, viruses, pathogens and other contaminates greater than 0.01 micron to provide access to clean, safe drinking water.

Sanitation
Our holistic approach provides schools with the capability to sanitize latrines and high touch surfaces with chlorinated water to WHO standards to improve the hygiene and health of school children.

Hand Washing
Handwashing facilities and liquid soap dispensers are integrated into our water access solutions, while handwashing content forms a key part of our Water-Health & Hygiene education program.

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

AFRICA Safe Water Foundation is a non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Uganda, and Nigeria, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
